Uri L′Tezedek

Uri L'Tzedek believes that micro-lending is one of the most important ways to work to eradicate poverty and to empower those in the developing world to build their lives and dreams on their own terms.

Kiva's mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. Kiva is the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs across the globe.

As a lender, you have the opportunity to support entrepreneurs as varied as a baker in Afghanistan or a goat herder in Uganda. Select an entrepreneur, checkout, and receive updates as the entrepreneur repays the loan. At the end of the loan term, re-lend repaid loan funds to a new entrepreneur or withdraw them from Kiva.
