Mah Ani? Self Reflection and Social Action for the High Holidays
“For I have embraced him [Abraham] so that he will charge his sons and his daughters after him to keep the way of the LORD to do righteousness and justice.” (Genesis 18:19)
With Rosh Hashana around the corner, it is time for us as a community to reflect and ask ourselves if we are living up to Abraham’s charge: have we created a community dedicated to “the way of the LORD to do righteousness and justice?”
In order to deepen our understanding of what righteousness and justice is, Uri L’Tzedek is excited to announce the publication of Mah Ani? Self Reflection and Social Action for the High Holidays focusing on the ethical cultivation of the Jewish self.
