Uri L'Tzedek Beit Midrash - Ethics of Consumption and Meat Production
Tuesday, April 13 2010, 7:30pm - 9:00pm

By living in the United States, we all automatically become consumers of a multitude of goods. As our awareness of the often abusive conditions that the producers of these goods are subjected to increases, we must examine our role in this system and how we can help make the system more ethical. Join Rabbi Ari Weiss from Uri L'Tzedek and Devora Kimelman-Block from KOL Foods as we explore these challenging questions on Tuesday, April 13th from 7:30-9 at Drisha (37 W. 65th St, 5th Floor). Co-sponsored by the YU Social Justice Club and the AJWS-AVODAH Partnership.

Location : Drisha, 37 W. 65th St., 5th Fl., NY, NY
